REAL MADRID will unveil two Galactico signings in the next few weeks, a transfer expert has claimed.
Ian McGarry, speaking on the Transfer Window podcast, is convinced two big names are set to join Real Madrid following the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo
PSG duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Eden Hazard of Chelsea are the four names he understands Real Madrid are chasing.
McGarry said: “I think you will see a very busy, very expensive summer for Real Madrid.
“They are pursuing all four players (Neymar, Mbappe, Kane, Hazard) as we speak – some with more intensity than others.
“What I’m sure of is at least two new Galaticos will be unveiled at the Bernabeu this summer.”
Hazard is desperate to leave Chelsea and he admitted after helping Belgium win the World Cup third-placed play-off that he wanted out.
“After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different,” he told Belgian outlet HLN.
“Certainly after this World Cup. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision – if they want to let me go.
“You know my preferred destination.”
That destination is Real Madrid but McGarry understands Barcelona are also keen.
Who could Real Madrid sign to replace Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese star completed his move to Juventus?
He explained: “Eden Hazard has been quite open in saying how it might be a dream to join Real Madrid.
“So, Hazard, who has become very, very frustrated with Chelsea’s modus operandi regarding transfers, managers and how the club has descended into farce this summer.
“Someone like Hazard has a look at that and thinks ‘am I really at the right club where I’m gonna win the top trophies. My stock is high after the World Cup.’
“Why don’t I make hay while the sun shines?
“Hazard also has interest from Barcelona. Barcelona would like him to complete their new attacking triumvirate.”
