Mohamed Salah is ‘ready’ to leave Liverpool for Real Madrid this summer, according to former Tottenham and Egypt striker Mido. Salah has been in sublime form for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season with 40 goals in all competitions so far. The Egypt international is now the leading candidate to win PFA Player of the Year, while his displays for Liverpool have put him on Real Madrid’s radar. And Mido, who was capped 51 times by Egypt and played almost 100 games in the Premier League for Tottenham, Middlesbrough, Wigan and West Ham combined, believes Salah has what it takes to be a success at the Santiago Bernabeu.

‘Real Madrid want him, and we have all seen the poor performances of Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema with the 4-4-2,’ he said, via KingFut. ‘I was afraid that Salah might fail at Liverpool, but I think he is ready to jump to the next level. ‘Real Madrid would be able to use his strengths.’
