A big competition for a short midfield enforcer
Nice’s 5.5ft central midfielder Jean-Michaël Seri is on Chelsea radar, according to Wednesday’s L’Equipe, a major media outlet in France. The report states that the Blues have made an enquiry to Nice bosses as to the player’s availability.
Seri is understood to want to leave his club and was doing his best to do so last summer by overtly stating it was his time to move on. Back then, it was Barcelona who wanted the player, but now Chelsea will have to compete with Manchester City and United.

The 26-year-old has a €40m buy-out clause and his contract expires in summer 2019.
