Didier Drogba has been left pretty impressed by Alvaro Morata’s start to life at Chelsea. The Spaniard has indeed made a brilliant start to his career with the defending champions and has registered three goals and two assists in his first four matches in the Premier League.

Morata most recently scored in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Leicester to help Chelsea gain the third position on the Premier League table. Drogba feels that Morata will be the key for the Blues if they are to defend their Premier League crown.

Drogba was particularly happy for N’Golo Kante who also registered his name on the scoresheet against Leicester City. Chelsea manager Conte was so happy with his performance that he dubbed Kante as the best player.

Speaking about Kante, Drogba said, “He doesn’t score much but when he does everyone is happy for him because he is working a lot for the team and giving everything.”

The Chelsea great concluded by stating, “I was proud that he scored his goal. It was a very difficult game. It is always difficult to play at Leicester so I am happy with the result.”
