Presidential elections are over. The UEFA U21 EURO tournament is also over. US preseason tour is just around the corner, so it’s about time to unveil new, even though expected, signings.

Yesterday, Real Madrid finally announced the worst kept secret in town. Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid reached an agreement over the sale of Theo Hernández to Real Madrid.

Today, Real Madrid officially announce the unveiling of Jesús Vallejo, who will form the part of the first team next season. The presentation will be tomorrow, Friday 7 July, at 13:00 CEST in the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabéu and it will be streamed live via Real Madrid TV (both in Spanish and English versions of the channel). Then Vallejo will step on the pitch in a Real Madrid shirt and later he will address the press.

After this official announcement, Real Madrid quickly released a statement summarizing Vallejo’s path to Real Madrid and his brief description.

The defending Champions League and LaLiga holders have strengthened their ranks by drafting in one of the most promising defenders in Spanish football. A quick, no-nonsense centre-back, Vallejo also stands out on account of his character and personality, two qualities which saw him captain Real Zaragoza at the tender age of 18.
