Barcelona have been dealt a huge transfer blow this summer as their main target Marco Verratti will not be leaving PSG in the coming months.
That is according to SPORT who claim that PSG sources have told them the player will not be signing for Barcelona this summer.
In fact, they go as far as claiming that the club are wasting time and energy on trying to pursue Verratti.
This comes after intense interest from the Catalan giants in the Italian midfielder who is rated extremely highly in European football.
Verratti was also one of the players who tore Barcelona open in the first leg of that dramatic tie in the Champions League.
Now, regardless of how much the side wanted him, Marco is set to remain in Paris for at least another year.
Barcelona have completed possibly their most important business of this transfer window and windows to come.
The Catalan giants have tied Lionel Messi down to a new bumper deal.
