Manchester United are struggling to reach an agreement with Real Madrid over the transfer of Alvaro Morata, and are now worried the club could end up coming back for David De Gea.
Given United are refusing to negotiate over their number one, it seems that the fee for Morata will have to reach around 90 million euros before getting the player according to the Telegraph.
The issue with De Gea is the fact Gianluigi Donnarumma is set to pen a new deal with AC Milan, and that has of course had a huge affect on Real’s plans for the future, and have now considered a player plus cash deal for Morata and De Gea.
Mourinho is annoyed
Jose Mourinho has been frustrated with the lack of activity in terms of Man United players coming in this summer, and with the likes of Ivan Perisic and Morata deals stalling, there could well be a far more similar squad going on the club’s pre-season tour than Mourinho would have wanted or asked for.
