Barca Bonucci favourites?

Barcelona are in the lead for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci despite links to the English Premier League, say reports.

According to Tuttosport, the Catalans are favourites to sign the 30-year-old who would be available for a transfer fee of around €70m.

The Turin-based media outlet gave prominence to the story over the weekend and say that unlikely bumper offers from Chelsea and Manchester City, Bonucci could be persuaded by a move to the Camp Nou.

The Bianconeri and Italy stalwart is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest defenders and while Juve would not be willing to negotiate a fee, should he request a move the situation could change.
