According to AS, Real Madrid is a step away from transferring the 20-year-old this summer, and loan him a year at Betis.
Madrid scouts have given the green light to the Spanish midfielder, who are following him closely at the European Championship.
It is believed that Real will initially offer 15m euros, which could increase as Betis knows they can profit more from one of the most promising midfielders in Spain.
According to AS, Real Madrid is expected to offer six-year contract to Ceballos in order to secure another promising Spanish talent after Asensio, Mayoral, Llorente and Vallejo.
