‘If Ronaldo leaves it will be a big loss for La Liga’

Javier Tebas believes Cristiano Ronaldo is innocent, as he admitted that La Liga would lose much if four-time winner of the “Golden Ball” decides to leave.
Javier Tebas has helped Cristiano Ronaldo, who is accused of hiding 14m euros tax.

He believes CR7 is innocent, saying it would be a big loss for La Liga if Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid.

“Knowing the environment and the professionalism he has, I do not doubt that Cristiano is innocent,” Tebas told La Sexta.

“We live in a time where any news related to the Spanish treasury is about highlighting criminals. From what I have read I am convinced that there is no crime here, “Tebas added.

Tebas also said La Liga would suffer if Cristiano decided to leave Real Madrid.

“His departure would be a big loss for us, an irreparable loss,” Tebas answered further.

Ronaldo closed the 2016/17 season with 42 goals in 46 appearances for Madrid, who reached 400 goals with the Spanish club, more than 500 in his career – as he broke record as the first player to reach 100 goals in Champions League .
