Colombian coach is disappointed with James’s playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Colombian coach Jose Pekerman can not believe James Rodriguez is not playing in Real Madrid.
This is was amazing season for Real Madrid, they won La Liga and the Champions League, but the same can not be said for James Rodriguez.
James has only played 20 matches in all competitions during 2016/17 season, while Zinedine Zidane completely removed him from the team in the Champions League final against Juventus.
It is reported that some clubs want Colombian services, such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Inter, and Pekerman says the situation should be resolved as soon as possible.
“It’s unbelievable that a world class player like James does not play anymore,” Pekerman said, before the friendly match against Cameroon.
“His appearances and the way he plays is important to us,” he added. “I do not doubt that this situation will be solved in one way or another.”
“For the benefit of Colombian national team it is always good for James to have continuity, to play more,” concluded the Colombian coach.
