According to the Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola, Barcelona is close to transferring Benfica defender Nelson Semedo.
A Bola writes that Barcelona is expected to spend nearly 50 million euros for Portugal’s national team player.

Semedo has a contract with Benfica until 2021, while the 23-year-old’s card from the Portuguese club is vauled at 80m euros.

Semedo was transferred to Benfica in 2012 from a small Portuguese squad, Sintrense.
