Andres Iniesta’s future remains unresolved after the Spanish veteran refused to express his interest to stay at Camp Nou.
Iniesta was asked about his future at Barcelona before Copa del Rey against Deportivo Alaves, he is not sure if he will stay at Camp Nou after the expiration of his contract in 2018.
The 33-year-old, who started only 13 La Liga matches in 2016/17 season, has revealed that he has not yet decided for the future.
“I have never said that I will not renew the contract, but there are other things to look at, there is nothing to do with the economic issue,” said Iniesta, who on Saturday won the 30th title with Barcelona.
“There are several factors, personal issues, it has not been an easy season. I have to make an honest decision, one that will be good for all, “concluded Iniesta.
