Morata meeting with Milan

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is set to meet representatives of Milan to discuss a transfer this summer, it has been reported.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri tabled a bid of €60m for the 24-year-old striker and are extremely hopeful of concluding a deal swiftly.

A report last week in the same media outlet stated the former Juventus striker had signed a €7.5m-a-year deal with the Milanese club and reportedly rejected advances from English duo Chelsea and Manchester United.

Morata netted on 15 occasions in La Liga this season despite making only 14 starts, with lack of first-team opportunities the main factor behind the move, with Milan set to make him their star attacker.
