The two legends of Rome, Bruno Conti and Roberto Pruzzo, who were part of the giallorossi squad that lost the Champions League final against Liverpool in 1984, have offended the English giants.
The duo was photographed in front of the Liverpool club emblem on Anfield Road on Monday evening, smiling and pointing the middle finger.
“That Champions League final still hurts after 34 years,” Pruzzo told Premium Sport, reports 9sport.
“That’s the fist thing that comes to my mind when I think about Liverpool. That final will hurt us forever. But that is football, “he added.
Roma will seek revenge on Liverpool tonight in the first semi-final match at Anfield.
