BAYERN MUNICH star James Rodriguez could reportedly become a Barcelona player if a deal for Ousmane Dembele goes ahead.

Rodriguez is shining at Bayern Munich and putting his Real Madrid nightmare behind him over in Bavaria.
However, the Colombia international may not sign for the German giants on a permanent deal.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claim Rodriguez may, in fact, end up at Barcelona despite his ties to Los Blancos.
Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes is said to be a huge admirer of Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele signed from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for a huge £120million deal that made him football’s second most-expensive signing.

But fans of the Catalan club are yet to see him at the peak of his powers.
Barcelona are set to sign Antoine Griezmann at the end of the campaign which could be the deal that forces Dembele out.
Bayern are waiting for the player with open arms.
And Don Balon say they may sign Rodriguez from Real on a permanent basis – then flog him to Barcelona as part of a Dembele.

Though far-fetched, the report indicates Barcelona may approve Bayern’s grand plan.
The La Liga giants supposedly wanted to sign Rodriguez during his time at Monaco.
The player was tipped to move to the Nou Camp shortly before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
But, after his heroics in South America, Real ended up signing the player instead.
