Real Madrid is eyeing a swoop for Manchester United’s trio of David De Gea, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial this summer. Los Blancos are willing to offer Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in an attempt to tempt the Red Devils.
This week, Florentino Perez has contacted Manchester United to inform about the movements of the above-mentioned players, according to Manchester Evening News. The Real Madrid president is planning the squad overhaul this summer after his club’s dismal performances in La Liga.
Gareth Bale is said to be the first player to go under the axe, according to reports. The Welsh International has failed to impress for the Spanish giants since his arrival in 2013. Manchester United have been huge fans of the player, trying to sign him during his time at Southampton. Real Madrid will be looking to tempt Jose Mourinho with him for the likes of signing David De Gea this summer.

This isn’t the first time Real Madrid are eager to sign David De Gea. During summer 2015, Los Blancos nearly signed the player. But a faulty fax machine ensured that the Spaniard stayed at Old Trafford. Since then, the goalkeeper has fallen back in love with the club and wants to remain in Manchester forever.
The Red Devils have offered him a new contract in recent weeks. Reports suggest that De Gea will sign the contract without any thought. It is hard to see Jose Mourinho let go one of the best players in the league this summer.

Real Madrid is also interested in the French duo of Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial. Both players have come under the scrutiny of Jose Mourinho in recent times. Florentino Perez is ready to pounce on this opportunity and bring them to Spain this summer.
The Real Madrid president is also looking to offer Toni Kroos or Luka Modric for the United trio. Manchester United are in need of two midfielders as they are set to lose Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick at the end of this season.

It will be interesting to see how these transfers pan out during the course of the summer. At the moment, these are rumours but anything is likely once the transfer window opens.
