PSG still in race for Man City target

PSG are still interested in signing Alexis Sanchez, the Mirror confirms.

According to the Mirror, the Chilean international is still being pursued by Antero Henrique, who is the Ligue 1 side’s sporting director.

This would, funnily enough, make sure that the Parisian’s lineup contained at least one representative from the four South American power houses, Brazil (Neymar, Thiago Silva), Argentina (Di Maria, Pastore), Uruguay (Cavani) and Chile.

According to the London paper, Henrique has even gone as far as to expres this interest to the 29-year-old’s entourage.

The Chilean has been linked to City for a while now, Arsenal even giving the green light to an eventual move to the Etihad on condition that they could replace Sanchez. They were unable to nab Thomas Lemar of Monaco, ending the move.

Though the Chilean has been a stonewall star for Arsenal since joining in 2014, things haven’t been easy for him over the last few months, getting into trouble for a perceived lack of effort ahead of the Bayern Munich clash in the Champions League, and being caught smiling on the bench as his side was being hammered 5-1 in the return fixture.
