Neymar’s father has recently met PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in native Brazil.
“Neymar already has a future at PSG, Neymar already has a present at PSG,” Neymar Santos Sr told journalists at his son’s charity centre, the Neymar Junior Institute, in Praia Grande, Sao Paulo state.
Al-Khelaifi has also visited Neymar at his luxury home near Brazil’s coast, where he is recovering from surgery after fracturing a foot two weeks ago.
The rumours have been circulating that Neymar is unhappy at PSG and he could join Real Madrid instead or even return to Barcelona which would be highly unlikely after his scandalous move last summer.
However, PSG president Al-Khelaifi has dismissed these rumours: “Neymar is happy, highly motivated and excited to come back as soon as possible. He is doing his best to come back as soon as possible…. He’s in good shape.”
