Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has invested a lot to strengthen his back line and reports suggest that he is ready to spend more to further reinforce the department.

Two years back, the Portuguese boss signed Eric Bailly from Villareal and last year, he signed Victor Lindelof from Benfica to strengthen his central defense. Now, as per Don Balon, Mourinho wants to sign two more central defenders by hiring the services of Umtiti from Barcelona and Lenglet from Sevilla.

The Spanish source have mentioned that the ex Real Madrid manager is fully determined to capture the above mentioned center halves from the La Liga.

Not to forget, the former Chelsea manager has also got CBs like Smalling, Rojo, Jones and Blind in the team. Therefore, he really does not need to sign two more CBs in the summer transfer window.

In my opinion, Mourinho should only focus on signing Umtiti, who has quickly improved to become one of the best defenders in the world.

As per the provided Don Balon link, Mou thinks that the 24-year-old French international, who has got a release clause of €60million in his contract, is the ideal man to strengthen United’s defense.

This season, the Les Bleus defender has so far featured in 38 games in all competitions for the Catalan giants, who have already won the Copa Del Rey and are on the verge of winning the league title as well.
