Isco and Marco Asensio angry with their teammate wastefulness claims

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has reportedly angered the likes of Isco and Marco Asensio for his failure to contribute much to the team and his selfishness on the ball.

Bale is Real Madrid’s record signing but has been hampered by injuries over the past year. His poor fitness record along with the rise of Isco and Asensio has many questioning whether the Welsh winger is worthy of a regular starting spot.

However, manager Zinedine Zidane remains a big supporter of the 28-year-old, despite many losing their patience with Bale.

According to Don Balon, as reported by the Daily Star, Isco and Asensio are furious with Bale for his selfish play with the ball and his failure to contribute much to the team.

The Spanish duo have been in superb form for Los Blancos over the past year but are yet to nail down a spot in the starting XI and they are angry that Zidane has persisted with Bale despite his poor form and fitness.

Despite winning the UEFA Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup, Real Madrid’s start to the season has been far from perfect, with the defending champions already four points behind leaders Barcelona.

Bale has been underwhelming in the recent draws against Valencia and Levante and it remains to be seen whether the former Tottenham man will maintain his place in the team in the future.
