Ex- Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has signed up with Crystal Palace on a one-year deal.

The 32-year-old, who has also experienced spells with Marseille and AC Milan throughout his career, has been without a club since departing the Gunners at the end of previous season.

“Crystal Palace is a very ambitious club with fantastic players and I am looking towards being part of the squad,” Flamini said in a declaration on Palace’s website.

“It is a very exciting challenge for me and I am very excited to be here. I had the opportunity to discuss the move here with Alan Pardew and he really helped me make my choice.”
