Leandro Paredes is reportedly unconvinced by Zenit St Petersburg, so Bayern Munich enter the race for the Roma midfielder.

The Argentinian international was thought to be on the verge of joining the Russian club, along with his teammate Kostas Manolas.

While the Greek defender is ready to join Roberto Mancini in St Petersburg, Gazzetta dello Sport insists his teammate is unconvinced.

However, that doesn’t necessarily mean Paredes will be staying with the Giallorossi, as it’s thought Bayern Munich have sent representatives to the Italian capital to negotiate for the 22-year-old.

Juventus have also been linked, but with no release clause it’s very unlikely Roma would sell to a domestic rival.
